i'm not arguing that he is not a freshman, but for a guy who came here w/ every intention of leaving after one year... i argue that you can get down on him for making freshman mistakes (or for having the hands of a small woman). the only reason 'freshman mistakes' are tolerable is b/c you expect them to be better in the future, which JJ will not be doing at nc state.

i agree, but it's not sidney who is half assing every game. clearly, he needs to figure out how to get his players going. his coaching hasn't been a flawless victory, but motivation/chemistry is clearly the larger issue this year. he is right in that these guys have not been making plays. although i guess he still shouldn't throw them under the bus like that. i'm sure he's getting just as frustrated as we are w/ the effort on the floor.

Yeah, I think this a big reason that I find the quotes annoying. Suggesting that everybody needs to learn to help J.J. out just seems futile at this point. But maybe that's me being cynical. Whatever, I find this team damn near unwatchable.

Today at 1 pm you can watch our last ACC Tournament Championship from 1987. That State team defeated the heavy favorite North Carolina team that was the number one seed in the tournament. Quentin Thomas, who's on the staff now, was on that team.
