Man what a series...we swept easily and now have 2nd place in division easily as well. Rest of ACC play should go more like this weekend with the exception of FSU. Great offense + great pitching = dominance. Clayton Shunick must be the most improved player in the country in case some of you are not following he dominated friday with 12 Ks...Go Pack!

Honestly these mid-week games are meaningless, Avent saves the best pitching for the weekends... Winning in the ACC is the most important thing.

As long as we take care of business in the ACC we will be alright. ECU and Coastal put in their star pitchers against us, even some of their weekend starters. In some cases, we are the best team these midweek teams will play, so they put everything into beating us. At least we didn't get shutout like UNC was against Elon.

^ well to be fair we did have the fortunate of being able to throw mcconnell against ecu due to a weekend rainout but yeah you're right about taking care of business in the acc and with duke, va tech, bc, and maryland coming up we should be able to run off a lot of wins until we have to play fsu

Lost 4-1 tonight. Gave up 3 runs in the 1st. Had bases loaded with 2 outs in the 5th, got a run and that was it. Held to 4 hits on the night. Bats need to wake up for tomorrow and Sunday.
