did that article mention how much obama would get of independents? i didnt read it close but all i saw was that 20 percent of dems will vote mccain if its obama


i have heard other places that obama gets 80 percent of independents, even from mccain cause indepedents are tired of the war for the most part

you can feel free to pigeonhole those two radical clear cut parties, but independents are completely different...they are independent because, most likely, they agree with aspects of both parties, but don't rely on some party line to make their decisions

well i would question how they could even determine that

a poll of ~2,000 registered independents' opinions? what about the 150,000,000 "independents" that dont vote?

maybe the majority is fed up with the war, but i think its pretty dumb to try and classify independents' opinions in the same way we can generally classify liberal or conservative views...the whole point of being independent is because you have independent thought...not to be lumped into some 3rd category of bullshit just as bad as the other 2 parties...fuck that
