my friend from high school used to hang out with her a lot. he helped her on her SBP campaign and all that. i really don't see how this could be a random act of violence. if she was still up at 1:30am like her roommates said then i doubt she'd be up again at 4 something to go exercise or whatever. i could be wrong, but i think something else was going on.

well the good news here is they found her car. hopefully it will have some prints, dna or other evidence in it. sounds like whoever did this wasn't the smartest dude in the world, so i'm gonna bet he left some kind of trace in the car

well look at the other killings around that had high rewards. the USA today girl. and the aruba case.

well yeah. he managed to not drop his license in the car or on top of her dead body.

but he was stupid enough to leave the car somewhere it could be found (in such a short time), and probably didn't burn/sink/whatever it to destroy evidence inside

it took them a couple hours to find her car that was like 1 mile away.

im not trying to brag, but ive found a needle in a haystack before. i could have found her car in probably 30 minutes.

during my lunch break i should have gone out there and done my investigating.

i can maybe see durham police doing something with this case, but if they want this solved they need to hook up with some detectives from up north, or somewhere that this happens often.

it sucks. same with the usatoday girl who was killed. at least they have a sketch out of that.
