I usually wear business casual attire. Shirt, slacks, dress shoes...most of the time without tie. All though all that's required is a polo shirt...
and I've seen cats walking around there in t-shirts too.

BUT....I take a lot of pride in how I dress. I would rather be overdressed than under, etc...

i dunno about the salary range, but according to the first post, very high.

lately I have been wearing a suit, or at least everything but the jacket. the executive team at my company is somewhat political and are always very well-dressed, so i feel if i wanna roll with the big guys (which I do have meetings with every now and then, and even teach them classes) I need to look sharp.

this is a good trait to have. i haven't read the thread, but im sure someone has mentioned that you should dress for the job you want, not for the job you currently have

medium, and our corporate dress code is business casual.

I wear business professional. I RARELY wear suits, though. More like fashion-forward business professional (complete with killer shoes ).

I'm a firm believer in dressing for the position you want, not the position you have.

Our execs mostly wear business professional, though they do wear business casual if they don't have customer-facing meetings. They also participate in "jeans day" (every Friday) if they don't have customer-facing meetings.

Usually jeans and a polo or button down. 3rd shift is pretty understanding with the dress code. There's a lady here who wears/owns more tie-dyed moo-moos than any one human being should.

Oh, and medium.

business casual-ish. Usually either nice pants and a button up/nice polo or nice denim with a button/up polo. Never sneakers. There are some dudes around here that roll in with jeans or shorts and rainbows, bump that.

Very low (engineering internship job, part time)

Starts next week. Dress is slacks with a button up shirt and semi-dressy shoes.

Going to work at a fairly corporate place that's growing quite nicely. Not a big ass corporation where you deal with an HR department instead of real people, though, and I like the people I've spoken to so far.

Industry: Higher Education

Dress shirt, slacks sometimes a tie. Though there is no formal dress code, in my department almost everyone wears this; a few go with polo shirts and khakis.

Whatever I am wearing when I leave the house. Since I began riding the motorcycle to work I have only worn shorts twice but I would/could otherwise. And then just a t-shirt. This will change if we get moved into the tower where they have some retarded dress code even though we never, ever interact with the public. I'd have to hear a golf (polo?) shirt and khakis.

Professor.

I suppose I'll wear dress pants and a button shirt. Maybe the same color all the time just to weird out the kids... like a costume for a superhero, except my underwear will not be over the pants.

I guess I could get away with jeans and a polo, but I suspect it would bring me bad mojo with the administrative people in time, so I'll bump it up a notch. But no tie, I hate them. Why ? What is a tie? I mean a belt I can understand, suspenders sure, but what purpose does a tie serve except to make you uncomfortable... see even talking about a tie has made me

I wear tshirts and jeans 90% of the time. Unless they are all dirty, then I will throw on a button-up shirt. I try to shave once a week or so.

No one gives two shits about my attire because I do ridiculously good work. I don't think anyone wears khakis or suits on a daily basis here, even the senior management.
