I used the eye dropper to sample colors from the location on his face that I was painting and then kept spraying over and over until it blended. I traced a lot of his face to get the shapes and locations right, so i guess I was semi-cheating but it was the first one I did and I was trying to get it perfect.

Also the compression from saving it as a jpeg actually makes it look a lot more real than it did originally.

^overlaying the two images at the same size, everything matches up on the face, perfectly.

the difference in quality between your first and subsequent MSPaints is pretty significant too.
