low carb diets are ridiculous. you work so hard to lose the weight by cutting out even healthy carbs (like whole wheat stuff). then when you introduce even the tiniest bit of carbs back into your diet - you gain all that weight back with a vengeance. i've never known someone to lose weight through Atkins that actually kept it off for any extended period of time. and every time you do Atkins, your body becomes a little more accustomed to it, making it harder and harder to cut carbs and actually lose the weight.
