There's a range of sexual attraction. You don't have to be all gay or all straight. Most people are somewhere in between. Like a scale from 1-10, with 1 being totally straight and 10 being totally gay. 5 would be bi, with equal attraction to each sex. Say a man who is a 3 is mostly attracted to women, and the small amount of attraction to men isn't worth acting on. Especially with the social stigma against gay encounters.

Women are more likely to act on any same sex attraction. Think about it, if a girl made this thread about a female lover the responses would be "hawt" not "ewwwww."
