fairly permissive in general (no state vehicle inspection, pretty permissive gun laws, DMV is the least painful here of anywhere I've bought and sold vehicles, which is a number of places). Homestead exemption on property tax for your primary residence.

St Pete and Clearwater are nice. Ybor City is neat for a little while.

St Aug has some cool history stuff (and so does Pensacola).

largest artificial reef in the world (USS Oriskany) and 2nd largest artificial reef in the world (USNS Vandenberg)...both great dive sites that attract people from all over the world. Great Florida Reef is one of the largest natural barrier reefs in the world.

Disney World and all of the other shit in Orlando. Not really my thing, other than eating/drinking around the world in EPCOT, but that's a big plus for many

Destin is nice. Lots of celebrities have places there. Same with Amelia Island and prob other places.

Bright Futures scholarship covers tuition and books (or a large percentage, depending on how high you qualify) at state schools for students who do decently well in HS.

I haven't been all over Arkansas--I've only been there a few times. So far it has all sucked, and the bad parts really suck.
