What? Is your single point that you believe 95% of working singles will get a tax cut.

Yeah, thats true. I sloppily cleaved apart singles from non-working. My thought being that there are many singles who are in college or graduate school and not making income. Yes, they are not working even though in my mind they are not "not working."

But, you could have just asked for clarity on that and/or read my previous post in which I articulated that it seems anyone who has Wages, Salaries or Tips will get a refundable $500.

It's fairly straight-forward. You are either working or you are not. Full-time students without a vocation other than their education are not working.

Granted, I agree that Full-time students may require additional financial support, which Obama has addressed several times since they are not indeed working. However, these type of students would not fall under the tax cut agenda directly.

He was an instructor really, not a tenure track professor. I don't know how UChicago does its titles but at UNC-CH he would have been called an instructor.

However, its hard to argue given his position as editor of the Harvard Law Review that he is not at least somewhat bright. Seemingly there were no complaints that a dimwit had taken the helm of the most prestigious law journal in the US.

Yet, I think most individual's opinion of his intelligence is formed by his speaking and interviews. I think those put a floor under his intelligence but they aren't enough to label him a genius. My guess is that he is bright but probably not as smart as Bill Clinton for example.

He does, however, seem to be an empiricist, which for me is far more important than raw horsepower.
