Khan didn't end up testifying in Hare's trial because he pretended like he didn't remember a bunch of shit right before the trial, so that's probably why he got the maximum sentence.

they took a plea deal to pin the mastermind on the kid who got life. they usually cut down sentences for those assisting in taking down the big guy. why wouldn't i think they would be given reduced sentences, especially the chick.

^^They couldn't revoke his plea deal though. I guess the agreement was max sentence 42 years, as opposed to possibility of life.

^^She DID get a reduced sentence (180-220 months) while Khan got 196-245 months because he didn't testify...they weren't going to let them off with a slap on the wrist because they testified against Hare.

^yeah he still ended up getting the deal (which was second degree murder instead of first), but they weren't going to sentence him under the mitigating range because he didn't testify.
