coming from someone who has lived half my life in nj and the other half in nc, most of you have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to nj. I'll be the first to admit that Trenton, AC, Newark, Camden are as shitty as as their rep claims, but the rest of the state is beautiful.
fun fact... there are more horses in nj than there are in all of kentucky. 12/12/2008 10:16:32 AM |

one of these things is not like the others...
but the point of this thread isn't to talk about how shitty NJ may or may not (lol) be.
let's talk about how we need to beat Rutgahs worse than UNC did, and keep momentum rolling into next season

I'll give you the above but as with NJ, parts of all of the above are nice. W virginia we've discussed. Alabama gulf coast is really nice, MIssisippi's as well and the Mountains in Arkansas... Sterotypes applied to the whole often have this problem.
Southern Jersey is great, northern is questionable.12/12/2008 12:32:08 PM |

Several of my friends were saying the same shit to me. I'm like "Conference USA...HA!" Like it's some big accolade to win their conference over us doing well at the end of our season (with most of our players back to good health and etc.) in a much HARDER conference. Blah! But it is what it is.

^the stadium seated around 80,000 when they still had the upper deck and used the endzones. For this bowl, they upper deck is gone, and they don't use the endzone seats. So this thing will actually seat around 50,000 12/13/2008 4:36:12 PM |

so There is a rutgers fan at work who has taken to plastering any NCSU item I have with Rutgers stickers.
anyone got good ideas to prank back? Current thoughts are printing out the James gandolphini (sp?) in a Rutgers shirt with something witty written underneath. Plastering his office with loads of NC State Stuff all over his door/office NCSU bumpersticker on his car.
Any suggestions are appreciated. 12/14/2008 12:27:41 AM |

Fuck Ed CUnningham! He has Rutgers over NC State as one of his Top 3 locks!
Jesse Palmer knows what's up and was gushing over Russell Wilson and how he's been playing. Plus Palmer has seen him in person twice, once against South Carolina and again against FSU.
^ or you could always kick him in the balls
Fucking ESPN. They had a highlight clip of college football from this year air after their college bowl mania show and only had one clip of us (Andre leaping over an ECU guy), yet had UNC on their a bunch. Then they have the audio clip from the ECU game where the announcer yells "A POTENTIAL BCS BUSTER BUSTED" played as they show Turner Gill lifting up the MAC Championship trophy.

^ I just watched that too. Dude didn't really give any reasons for his pick except that their quarterback looks awesome and if you've watched them this year you wouldn't believe the difference between the beginning of their season and the end. Doesn't sound like any other teams I've seen this year at all . Way to do your research Ed.
