I'm still living and I own several guns, but I eliminated the 870 and mossberg 500 and 590 from my arsenal. I'm comtemplating getting a 870 wingmaster in .410 at some point for some fun shooting at sporting clay courses, but that definitely won't be used for home protection.

found a pistol grip mossberg 500 at a pawn store for 150. only trouble is it has a gay pistol grip forearm i'd have to replace. It does have the heat sheild on it though so i'm happy. probably gonna buy it from the guy this/next week once it goes through the gunsmith
