^^ calc 141 isn't exactly an engineering type class... it still has all people that think they can be engineers.

you guys have noticed the increasing level of beauty on this campus right? i've dealt with the effect you're experiencing to another degree while in high school (we dubbed it the "METS effect") but the current freshman class brought in more girls than in past years, and also an increase in the quality of said girls

introduce yourself on the first day. or do something to stand out from everyone else. if you ever happen to make eye contact, then smile at her. if you try to make eye contact, and can't seem to do so, then she knows you're trying to do it and is trying to avoid you. if that is the case, then move on 'cause she's not into you (maybe you look like a hobo? maybe you smell bad? maybe she's just into black guys? can't win 'em all).

also, don't say you want to study with her, or make up any excuses to get her number. if you do that, then you have to actually study, and it's really awkward. just ask her if she wants to hang out.

also, facebook stalk her and find out if she's single.
