Really? On Mondays, you can't even get into the place after 7:30 or 8:00 without them checking your ID. They always look at them very closely there. However, my girlfriend and I get waved in, even when there is a line since we are "regulars."

^ i don't recall that, but it's been some time since i've been there on a monday...i usually go for the rare keg (thursdays) and free brunch (sundays)...it's been some time since i've been there for pint nite (but now i want to go )

it depends on the keg...usually somewhere between $6 and $8 (the most expensive i've had was $9, but it was truly amazing, and i don't consider myself a beer connoisseur)...i'll usually buy one of those and the fire sale and split an appetizer with the gf or a friend and it's uncrowded enough to actually have a conversation

and yeah, it counts toward your beer total

^^ random things, always a pint...there's a fire sale every single day (in fact, check the fire sale board next time you're there on a monday...sometimes it's a pint that's marked as not being a pint nite special )...i was there last wednesday for glass night and it was an IPA...a pretty good one, too, though i can't remember which one

^ nc brews are every sunday, by default...all other days except friday (i think that's hummingbird water) are random

I swear to God I'm getting screwed at Saucer and the worst part is that I'm friends with one of the managers! I am at 48, but TKE-Teg is at like 60 and even he'll admit I've gone far more than he has since we started it. It's bullshit I tell you! I went three times over Thanksgiving and the machine was down so I had to write it down on paper like they told me...

I said I was only going out one night this week but I have a strong feeling I'll be there tonight somehow

My girlfriend didnt get credit for beer two weeks in a row. The first week its wasnt really a big deal, but after the second, she sent them an email (remembering which beers she had). The manager was really cool about it. He put them on her total and apologized about the whole thing. He even said if it happens again, just let them know. We havent had a problem yet, so maybe they started being more attentive.

needless to say, we are gonna be doing a lot of drinking before both shows. So you'll have to come meet us after work friday.

they've missed several of mine...of course, i don't care enough to actually check the next day (or day after that) to make sure my beers are put into the system

in other news, i'm almost always at saucer on thursdays for rare keg night...and oftentimes on sunday for brunch, as well

yeah, the glass itself is pretty cool. They are standard shaker glasses, but the bottom is concaved (perhaps convexed depending on how you look at the glass) and looks like half a golfball sitting in the bottom of the glass. One half has the FS Valentines 2010 then the other half says "TIGER WOODS LIKES TO" and then it has a big red arrow pointing straight down to the bottom of the glass. neither I nor my waitress sunday could figure out the true innuendo though.

if you are in the ufo club, they send you videos every so often for the glass nights. im pretty sure i already deleted my email from this time, but i remember at one point, some text comes up that says "Tiger Likes to BALL"
