Right, it's UNC. If you're moving and your opponent is already in the air it doesn't matter. As long as you fall down it's a charge.

(Also it's amazing how you can fall straight backwards after basically getting bumped in the shoulder. If you'd been knocked over by that you would have been twisting to the side.)
