I was 2.xx in WAW but I never really got into that game. Sold it after a few months. I think WAW is much easier to get a high ratio because of the big difference in weapons and the dogs.

I also switched from PC to console. Very happy I switched. PCs cost too much to keep humming for all the latest games, and it seems like people always end up hacking the games getting unfair advantages that require constant patches (more so than console). The actual quality of the game experience on PCs seems to cary widely. Bummers of the consoles are really the limited number of online players (more with PC).

yeah there were routinely over 100,000 people online at any given time for COD4...unless their servers shit the bed, I'd imagine you can ALWAYS find online matches

computer started getting outdated in terms of graphics capabilities, couldn't handle the new games. so instead of buying a new one i got a ps3 and got into CoD since my cousins were all playing it. much more fun to play games sitting on a couch than sitting at a desk.

i remember some of the glitches in COD4...cant remember the names of the boards since I haven't played it in awhile, but on the desert board with the construction site, you could jump over a fence from a dumpster and get on "the outside of the map" and cause some havoc...also on the board in Russia thats mostly indoors, the one that has the cargo containers outside, you could jump from a table to the top of a refrigerator and onto a frame and get on the roof...there are plenty of others i'm forgetting

I think the controller hacks make me more upset but I assume that cant be prevented by updates.

unfortunately for me, all the hacks and exploits really turned me off from MP over the years, the worst of it coming in BF2 and BF2142. i did MP with CoD4 several times but it just seemed like that's all that anyone was ever doing. there might be good servers where that stuff is forbidden but i never found them. perhaps i'll give MW2 a shot at MP again, at least until all the exploits and hacks surface

yes, some people call maps boards, thats what i meant...some people call them stages or levels too...you need to diversify your video game vocabulary if you have to ask what a board is

so i never really played COD b/c my comp wasnt up to stuff and i HATE fps's on consoles. prob the last serious fps'ing i did was mohaa on the comp, which i loved. my main gripe with consoles is that it is 20x more difficult to aim (for me, obv) with a stick then with a mouse. however, i really like fps's and it is easier to force myself to like it on console than buy a new comp, so i got COD:MW for ps3 on discount and played through. I like it a little more than initially, but still would prefer comp.

i have one question/comment, my biggest gripe with the game, and with most fps's on ps3, is that when you aim, the gunsight can really block your view. it blocks out half of the screen at times. if you try to take aim at a guy that is moving down on your screen, your gun can block him out and you can lose him. this is really annoying, does it do the same thing on comp or is this a console only thing?

no, you need to educate yourself to speak/write the english language. Its called a map or sometimes a level. But 'level' or 'stage' is reserved for single player games or games that you can progress through other 'stages'.

you do realize that what you see on the screen is the same regardless of what the source is. The only difference is the controller. (and maybe graphics quality)

played some MW1 tonight. went about 1:1 in about every match except for one 19:5 round on Overgrown. Definitely ready for MW2. I enjoyed playing tonight because all the little kids have moved on to newer games and the use of the headset is rare. Those that do use it however, use it for the right reasons and its actually enjoyable.
