Went to stick and puck at Cary Ice House today, first time skating in FOREVER. Yeah.... I have a lot to work on. But it felt great and i plan to go again later in the week.

Do most people wear cages/visors in the leagues or are there a lot of people playing without?

Went to stick and puck again at the Ice House in Cary yesterday. Got thoroughly worked over by a bunch of young kids, but had a great time. I'd def join in for TWW hockey gathering.

Which stores in the area would carry helmet cages? I checked out play-it-again in crossroads and the shop in the ice house but neither had any that fit XL helmets (i have a charlie brown sized head).

What equipment do you guys wash? Do you do anything special with your gloves, pants, elbow pads, etc..

I hand wash my helmet and pants. I put the gloves, shinguards and elbow pads in the washer on a low spin cycle then hang them on the porch to dry.

Jersey and socks go in the wash separately.

Who's going to pickup tonight? 9:00 to 10:30 at the Factory.
