still sitting with a chocolate chili pepper porter in secondary (been in for like 2 months , it's righteous.. 9.8% abv, completely opaque and smooth as hell actually)
cherry lambic in secondary
imperial american in primary

need to boost and bottle up that porter so it'll be ready for thanksgiving

yeah i saw the recipe and thought "what the tittyfucking shit is this?"

then realized i have to make it

pulled a sample when racking to secondary and my god, it's going to be quite awesome

malty nose, not overly chocolate liek a youngs or something, but nice and roasty, slight bite on the finish from the serranos on the boil... interesting hop notes from using magnums for full boil, no dry hop

^^ Dude, that porter sounds awesome. Spicy chocolate mmmm. Serranos sound like a good call--kind of a medium hotness. I tried to do a habanero ale (inspired by Rogue's habanero ale) and it failed miserably.

And at nearly 10%, it requires fewer rufies.
