yeah, SW has awesome deals. I stayed at the Borgata w/ my parents and grandmother about 2 years ago.

I need a gambling weekend and I can't go all the way to Vegas. And I refuse to spend any more $$$ in the Harrah's in Cherokee.

This reminds me ... on my recent cruise, I put vodka in water bottles. Well, while unpacking, I put the wadka in my fridge. Last Saturday morning I was sleepy and thirsty and took a huge swig of my wadka. ICK! I was drunk on accident by 9 am. Whoops!

we are trying to decide on a hotel. Planet Hollywood is out - because that's where we stayed last time and i want to stay somewhere different!

obviously we want to stay on the Strip, somewhere in the middle would be nice - like, Caesar's Palace vicinity.

give me your Vegas hotel opinions!

^that's not on the Strip (according to Orbitz)...

^^Flamingo and Wild Bill's looked kinda cheap when we were there last time (July 09) so I think those 2 places have been ruled out.

I just saw rooms at the Paris on Orbitz for $160/night. We had martinis for lunch in Paris last time, and that place is gorgeous.

Flamingo has been rennovated so I would 't rule it out. Even b4 when we stayed there we like the location.

TI is very nice...we enjoye that as well.

We're going in october and I think we're gonna do MGM or NYNY

We're staying at the Excalibur right now. Got a pretty nice room after we upgraded. We wanted to stay at The Wynn, but we waited too long and the prices went up more than we wanted to pay.

Vegas is awesome!

^^You're a Professional Vegas Trip Planner. At least, that's the word on the street. How do you propose we get the best deal on the room? When's the perfect time to book the hotel? Obviously this is too soon for a February trip, but what's too late?

^YAY! Get off TWW and go gamble. But seriously, I remember seeing that hotel. I guess there's a good 10 or 12 hotels (at least) in our price range for that weekend, so we probably have a lot to choose from.

Southwest vacation packages are the way to go. They package the hotel and airline together and they are always running specials like get free nights or the 2nd person flies/stays for free.

They have their flights up to 1/7/11. You can see what nonstop options they have just to see what the options look like

I just priced out Mandalay Bay from 1/2 (Sunday)-1/5/11 (Wednesday) through SW Vacations and it gave me a free night. So w/ air and hotel it would be like $400 per person

They weren't offering hte morning nonstop flight though to Vegas. I think the nonstop left in the early afternoon. And coming back, they used to offer like a 3:50pm but now the only nonstop on the return is at 11am
