man, my first experience was rough

i had headphones on and they kept falling off and I was sliding all over the damn bed in sweat, god damn fuck it was hot as shit in there and then once i got my headphones secure after wresting around in the bed liked a naked hobo i was 10 minutes in, figured i got a nice all around coating from that experience so i laid back put the eyepieces on and they fell off....repeat above as necessary to explain the rest of the experience

I was out camping on the beach for 3 days over the weekend and almost constantly exposed to the sun in some manner. I just got a little burn on my back though, and on my feet. Damn feet, I hate rubbing lotion on them when they're covered in sand so they always get burned

I somehow spent the entire weekend outdoors and only applied sunscreen once and didn't get burnt. Which is really odd considering normally I am out for 10 minutes and turn beet red.

I'm the opposite. I spend all day out in the sun working in the yard and don't get burned. But looking back, I typically wear a hat. Yesterday, I didn't.

oh man i could have posted in this thread thursday after we went to the beach. OUCH.

and i reapplied sunscreen to my face and had a hat on so my face didn't even get a tan (got frecklier though)

now my shoulders are peeling. i need to exfoliate well next time i shower

and be better about the sunscreen

I was totally using my boogie board (definitely first typed 'boobie board') to make shade for my upper half while I was in the water

But then the waves got better and there was no waiting, so no shade-making.

And then I was crouched on the sand for a while with my back to the sun (my aunt got hurt and we we caring for her and tending to her while waiting for EMS). The back where I didn't re-apply sunscreen @ midday. Ooops

^I have been skimping on the sunscreen on my right arm, hoping to even out my trucker tan

^ I don't know why you would keep doing that to yourself.

I have a really blotchy tan right now. Started as a farmers tan, then I got sun on my upper body but I put sunscreen on my lower arms trying to even it out. It led to a 1-2" stripe of untanned area where the suntan lotion overlapped. The rest of it is from magazines/hats/etc. that blocked partial sun while I've been out.
