the mere fact that we have fans that are even worried(i must confess as well) about duke speaks volumes about our program. but that could be said for almost any team in the acc haha so maybe it doesnt mean all that much after all. whatever, i have to believe this program is going in the right direction and will continue to improve as the season/seasons go by.

The field looks MUCH greener than the previous turf. It is my opinion that the previous turf was cheaper and not the same as this sod because they knew it was going to get ripped up.

Pessimistic because I can admit that Duke is a better program than they were 5-10 years ago? Come on. Cutcliffe has these guys believing they can win. Its not the state of our program, its the state of theirs. The man knows how to coach offense and groom a QB. That combination is scary against our team. Don't be surprised when its a fairly close game tomorrow. We will win but I'd say Duke keeps it within 2 TDs or so.

They're certainly better than they were, but they also lost to Richmond this year...losing to Wake wasn't a shock to me last week...but if we lose to Duke, I will literally be stunned...I think we win by 2 scores but its never really in doubt

Not to say they couldn't win the coin toss and drive down field and hang at least 3...I just don't see us losing

Richmond is a quality football team....I don't care if they're 1-AA. They could give most ACC teams a game. But I will most certainly be disappointed if we lose to Duke. I am merely pointing out that Duke is no longer a "penciled-in win" on everyone's schedule.

I think both the former field and the new field are considered temp...they are replacing this after the season too (in my opinion, it doesn't look as good as the other field...definitely splotchy)

looks like Canesvision is switching to 16:9 for the jumbotron now too...which can be good if they are putting HD jumbotrons in in the near future.
