^^ Ehh I don’t totally buy that. He’s left coaching twice. Only one of those times was he actually coming off a down season (8-5 last year at UF). The other time he had off the field shit going on with Zach Smith at Ohio State so that was definitely a distraction, but it wasn’t because his team was bad. That team won the conference and then won the Rose Bowl that year.

Meyer has some real shit going on where he can’t handle losing. That’s why the NFL is gonna kill him. In the NFL, good teams lose 6 times/year. He never lost that many games in a season in college. He has a reputation for having an inability to handle failure. But when he left Ohio State, and yes he did cite health reasons, he wasn’t leaving a losing team

I’m not sticking up for him…fuck him. I just don’t think he has some long history of blaming bad on the field results on his health (shit, he’s only had like 1 bad season ever anyways). I also don’t totally buy the “Coach K always has health issues when his team sucks” thing either. But that’s a different subject.
