Guess I never really thought of it before... TOB kept Archer around to extend his life as a coach by an additional year. Hate to to think that's the reason. Still, not canning Archer during the off season reflects very poorly on TOB. I can't really see myself getting on a fire TOB bandwagon until Fowler is gone, but losing games by 20+ in Russel Wilson's junior year would really put that to the test.

The ACC is so weak I wouldn't think it would take that great a team to get to the conference championship game. We're truly the worst of the worst. Oh well. At least we've beat UNC under TOB. If we're going to be terrible, at least we've got that.

Pete Singer isn't always going to be able to ride Crisp's coattails, and needs to take some responsibility for himself. My guess is he would be long gone if it wasn't for Crisp, and this kind of stuff isn't going to fly when he gets to campus.

I wouldnt take anything away from anything in spring. There was almost no clue how bad our defense was going to be all the way through fall practice.

I heared that there were going to be new changes to the stadium this year. if theyre gonna do that, we need themed sections to the stadium. different sets of fans with different "personalities' all around in different areas. THIS MUST INCLUDE LOUD NOISE MAKING ITEMS. no more band. we need sections with drums, sections with loud horns, and if we can get them to put in ampliphiers mabey a section for electric or digital gitar.

Barnes apparently dislocated his ankle and had surgery the same day. I guess this is a tough injury to recover from....anybody have any experience or knowledge with ankle dislocations?

The ankle joint is one of the most complex joints in the body. There are so many ligaments in the region, so you will definitely have some ligament damage to overcome. Almost always there will be accompanying fractures of the malleoli (the hard parts that you can palpate on the side of your ankle).

Also it could depend of if they mean that he dislocated the syndesmosis between the tibia (shin bone) and the fibula (smaller bone on the lateral side of the leg that doesn't transmit weight). Either way he'll definitely need surgery.
