Golf is so damn mental. I'm sure the swing is part of the problem, but it's more of a convienient excuse. You try to lose millions, your kids, your wife, your image and come back and be a great golfer too. Not gonna happen. I hope it does, I like the guy when he plays well, but man, it's kinda sad to watch now.

golf is a game that a clear mind is needed to compete at the highest level...in tiger's mind the things he was doing before he got caught were ok. he was a "rock star" and he told himself he was allowed to do those things. now, w/ all of his personal doubts, there is no way that he can play at his best during these tournaments until he gets more experience w/ his new mindset. He has to rebuild that confidence...it will take time.

i'm sure he can go out today at his home course and shoot 63 w/out a problem, but you put him under the microscope of a major and of course he's going to struggle.

I think he's done. He's suffered a lot of injuries during his career and this crash is almost killing him. He broke his feet and legs, which are very crucial parts in playing golf.

So, turns out tiger was actually unconscious after the crash, even though the sheriff's department said he was alert. They also declined to get a warrant to test the blood samples taken at the hospital. Seems an awful lot like they're covering up another DUI.
