I don't know whether to post this in khcadwal's mishap thread or khcadwal's hypochondria thread.

*WARNING* words...

mishap:

Izzy (sexpencil's bulldog) and I were playing ball behind the apt building. I threw it and it went underneath the fence, off a ledge, and in the woods. Izzy ran after it, dove under the fence, and fell over the ledge - which was about 6' high. I ran over and she was just sitting there and I couldn't tell if she was hurt. I called sexpencil TWICE but he didn't pick up, so I went after her.

I climbed over the fence, put my foot on the ledge and... BAM. I had put my foot on a slippery patch of moss and fell off the ledge, crashed into a small tree, and landed in poison ivy.

Izzy was OK, but then we had to trek through a dense collection of prickly forestry, and then up a steep hill of rocks.

So I go back to the apt and jump in the tub, fully clothed and with Izzy because we were filthy and covered in ticks. We're both OK but with a few bumps and scratches.


hypochondria:

Now I have that creepy crawly feeling. What if there are still ticks hiding somewhere? OMG Lyme Disease.

what kind of tick was it? cause it could be OMG Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever... but I think you'll be ok.

not really a mishap but somehow i've misplaced my phone charger between here and raleigh - and my phone is dead boooo

and i'm supposed to be somewhere in the morning but now i'm not going and i had to email the person and iknow they are going to call me at like 745 and get my voicemail and be like wtf?! i just hope they MAYBE check their email beforehand. oh well. whoopsy daisy. i'll get a new charger tomorrow but obviously there isn't much i can do about it now.

I played co-ed softball today. It was fun and made me really miss it, but of course I got hurt.

I was pitching and caught a line drive with my thighs. Yes, I caught it and made the out (total bad ass I know), but now it hurts really bad.

hahaha no fire - i think i caught them JUST in time. i didn't set a timer. they were totally in there for too long. probably like 30 minutes. whoops. i put them in and then got distracted studying :/

but i had a club pack (study food you know) so everything was FINE. i just had to make more. lol.

surprisingly i rarely have accidents in the kitchen. i have cut the top of my finger off, accidentally lit a potholder on fire (i left it too close to the eye) and burned the bagel bites haha. my b

last night it hurt so bad I had trouble sleeping. the pain was radiating down my leg and fucking awful in my knee. my whole body hurts today.
