My point exactly, Joie, common misconception that this act is even remotely illegal. I understand that you know it is not, but I think its funny that all these people in here are begging you to go to the police about this.

From her myspace page, it looks like she is talking to someone who actually has hung out with her in person. If that is the case, wouldnt they wonder why she has someone else's photos as her own? Kind of weird

Could it just possibly be that the law hasn't caught up with technology yet...I mean couldn't that be considered libel? Especially if she posts of picture of Joie along with a caption saying she was doing something illegal, or just something morally wrong?

I mean if people posted a picture of me with a beer in my hand, regardless of if I put it up on a website or not, with a caption saying "I got so wasted an ended up pregnant by the end of the night" I think I would be pissed.

Or a picture of me smoking a hand rolled cigarette, and someone takes that picture, says it's them and then says that they were smoking weed. What if someone I know happens to run across that picture, or someone trying to get information happens to run across that picture and thinks that I have no shame in posting pictures of me smoking weed on the internet...not something that I would want.

from what e tells me-after he called her out she deleted everything, but since shes had the second accounts (that have now been deleted when she found out i knew) he said he saw comments on her page about how she was a liar, and she would delete them.

You arent going to get anywhere with this for free.

But it wouldnt take more than 50-60 bucks to get everything you've ever wanted to know.

If you want her email/registration information, you'll need to file a civil suit and subpoena Facebook and Twitter for the account details. In both cases you're going to have to prove your own identity to the sites (which I don't know why you have a problem with that).

Faxing them twitter/facebook a couple of forms of ID takes a few minutes, and it's not like THEY are going to do anything malicious with it.

That'll get you all the contact information you should need, but it means actually pursing this in court.
