I also asked why the restaurant shut down in the first place, but they couldn't really give me a reason. Apparently the owner was tight lipped about it, but sold it to a guy named Jason who "had the same vision" for the restaurant, and is trying to keep it as close to the original as possible while improving the experience at the same time. So hopefully this rockford will be the same, but better.
