no shit Sherlock, but no doc writes Percs and Oxycontin together; you either get one or the other.if one was a an Instant Release and the other was an Extended then it would make sense. You obviously have never been written a long term script of an opiate based meds or this would be obvious to you. People on high doses of opiates don't take percs, they take something like oxycontin or dilaudid due to APAP toxicity. [Edited on May 9, 2010 at 8:23 PM. Reason : ,]

explain to me where 'oxycodone' is equal to 'Percocet'. You're the one that assumed the dude was prescribed one thing when in reality it was completely different and 10:1 odds exactly the scenario that I described. IR oxycodone 5mg (Purdue, Mallinckrodt, or any of the other 19 million manufacturers) and his ER oxycodone 20mg aka Purdue's Oxycontin(r) brand.
