Stinger not sure what you're trying to prove? The over under was 64.5 and they lost two starters and just now signed Dampier instead of at the beginning of the season.

They aren't winning 72 games this year. The quote you are pulling out even says it would be DIFFICULT. As in not easy. It's not going to happen...

If you're going to pick on something I missed it was Utah being good or Indiana being alright. Those I was wrong about.

John Wall is still debateable, though I'd be wrong if he keeps this up all season.

It's tough to try to make me look wrong in a thread I'm about to make $2,000 in.

The John Wall 40% FG watch is officially on. Down to 41.4% now and trending downward.

I just don't see how he can stay above 40% this year he was too bad of a shooter in college and he's going to wear down over a long season.

Wall is now shooting 40.4% from the field which ranks him 119 out of 131 qualified players in the league. Of the 12 people behind him most are 3pt shooters and only 4 have a worse adjusted fg%

As a side note he is shooting 33% from outside 10 feet.

He is also the 8th leading turnover specialist in the league at 3.5 per game.

I guess that's why all of his ardent supporters have temporarily disappeared.

^Hmmm...maybe it's because he's been injured a lot lately, and when he is playing, he's playing hurt.

He's also tied for 5th in assists with Jason Kidd and AHEAD of Westbrook and Rose.

Let's see who's ahead of Wall in turnovers...Westbrook, Rondo, Nash, Rose, Nash, Felton, and James....holy shit, those guys BLOW.

And your golden boy Cousins has a worse FG% than Wall...as a post player.

stfu rally

I got a lot of shit for picking him in the first round of fantasy...but he's probably in the top 3 in terms of fantasy production. He's actually getting a lot of blocks this year, decent rebounding, and of course killing in points. Lots of people thought his production would drop without Nash and being on the shitty Knicks.

It's so weird how all the Wall discussion died down, maybe I should take a look at his stats...

39.6% FG.

OH NOW I GET IT!!!

My "outrageous trolling" just turned out to be right again, what do you know.

congratulations, Wall has areas of his game he needs to improve as a rookie who has missed time with injury and only played 17 NBA games in his career...he's still averaging 16 points, 8 assists, 4 boards, 2 steals and half a block, and shooting 80% from the line...stats that confirm a player isn't NBA ready...

i guess he should be able to shoot a consistent high percentage when he's in an out of games with various leg injuries...certainly the strength of your legs has no effect on your ability to take jumpshots

I see you failed to respond to my post above where it showed he's in the same class in assists with Kidd, Westbrook, Rose...better in turnovers than Westbrooks, Rondo, Nash, and Felton.

And how your golden boy Cousins has a worse FG% than Wall...as a post player. And Westbrook had a rookie season FG% of 39.8% and he's a career 25% 3pt shooter.

You need to admit you're wrong instead of continuing to dig yourself deeper into this hole.

well if rallydurham isn't going to bring it up, kobe shoots something like 8-27 tonight, he took three times more shots than gasol and shooting at that percentage still never gives it up, I guess he knows no one is going to bring it up when he shoots his team out of a game

He had a great playoffs with the exception of the OKC and Boston series though.

You are entitled to your opinion and can feel free to disagree with me, and all of the NBA players who said Kobe had the highest basketball IQ in the league. All they've done is play against him for years though, they probably don't have access to all your stats.

NBA players aren't exactly the smartest subset of creatures on the planet.

I'm sure if we poll intellectual people we can agree that Steve Nash and Jason Kidd have a better basketball IQ than Kobe.

Yeah you're right. NBA basketball players don't know anything about other NBA basketball players' playing basketball in the NBA.

Would you call Ray Lewis an intellectual? I wouldn't, but I'd trust what he had to say about reading an offensive formation. Or which QB he said had the highest football IQ.

Anyone in this thread predict that?

72 was impossible given their injuries, not even sure they can win it all this year...

Can they still get to 62 wins? Sure, they'll be right around there probably.

Haslem season ending injury and Miller still hasn't been ready to play almost 40 games into the season.

That's 2 starters.

Funny story about stinger. He's terrified of public speaking. One time he showed up in class on the day he was supposed to do a group presentation in front of the class. He got so nervous that he faked a "Face" injury saying he had been struck in the face by a medicine ball and couldn't move his lips to talk. He proceeded to go through the entire 3 hour class (summer school) twitching and not moving his facial expression so that someone else would have present his part of the project. There were like 30 people in the class, just give the speech. Gotta give him credit though he didn't blow his cover the whole time with all the twitching.

how about the truth

i worked at the rock quarry, and due to an accident at work, a heavy metal bar hit me in the face and caused some nerve damage, which caused me to be unable to move half of my face for a few days

i still gave my part of the presentation, and rallydurham is still a tool

the real funny story is that with all the dumb shit i did do in college, you have to make something up

I made an A+ in that class, how did you do??

Why the fuck would I remember what grade I got in that class it was 7 years ago.

The only two things that stick out are you faking an injury because you're terrified of public speaking

and the teacher getting pissed at my buddy and i calling us out for drinking during class and my buddy goes "well at least i show up to class everyday" and then her saying "I lost my baby yesterday thats why i wasnt here" because she really had a miscarriage. Talk about putting your foot in your mouth geeez

Oh yeah PS. I wouldnt have known he was faking the injury that week and just terrified of public speaking except the first week when we had to give a 1 minute speech about ourselves he went up there and started talking except no one in the whole class could hear him.

The teacher stopped him dead in his tracks and said speak up.

He "tried" according to him but yet was unable to produce a noise from his vocal cords.

Later he blamed this on a "cold" which prevented him from being able to talk out loud.

Never seen so many excuses in my life. Even fucking Snarf from the cartoon had more utility than Scott "ThunderCat" Stinger
