I've had one since spring 2012. It has ebbed and flowed a little bit, but the only way I would remove the thing is if it somehow became necessary for a job (and even then, I would probably look into finding a new job). Partly it's comfort, partly it's laziness, and partly it's for looks. If you think I look stupid with a beard, trust me, it's way worse without. Like a giant, pudgy twelve year old or something.
This has led to awkward conversations in the past. My mom hates the beard and wants it to go away, so when she saw I had bought a razor she got all excited.
"Oh, oh, are you going to shave the beard? Am I going to get to see my baby boy again?" "What? Hell no." "Then why did you buy a razor?" (desperately clamors for convincing lie, fails)"...for my balls." 1/25/2016 1:54:29 PM
