^^ not to mention there hasn't been anything close to a dynasty in college basketball since UCLA. Duke has won 2 titles in 10 years. So has Florida. So has UConn. So has UNC. It's not that huge of an achievement.

Dynasty is thrown around way too often. I hate the Yankees, but '96-'01 was a dynasty, despite losing in '01.

Take away the 3 point line, Duke might have actually tried to look for a higher percentage shot instead of tossing a quick (missed) three nearly every other possession in the first half, and they may never have worked themselves in that 16 point deficit to begin with.
