yes the grammys are a complete joke. However, I am still really happy for the Arcade Fire if only because they kept 4 undeserving albums from winning the award. Their record wasn't my AOTY last year (even though it was def in my top 10), but at least a relevant, talented group of good songwriters actually won something at these stupid awards.

If someone makes an excellent rap album for example (aka the best of the year) someone else could still make a better rap album though it might not appeal to all you taylor swift fags making it a better rap album but not the best overall album of the year.
