I was very surprised and kinda sad she didn't put her bouquet on the tomb of the unknown soldier. I think that's been tradition since the first royal wedding after WWI and I think it would have been special since her husband will one day be the head of Britain's Armed Forces.

I was blown away by the dress! Gorgeous.

Just a little too much make-up, just a little. Her eyebrows were fine, they suit her face.

His uniform didn't seem to fit him right. A little too pudgy in the tummy area.

The music was incredible. Ubi Caritas was a perfect touch.

The Bishop of London was the best of all the religious officials.

I love history, I've studied English/British history and it's a passion of mine. I've been to Westminster Abbey, and have contemplated my life just a few steps from where they made their vows. To me I just feel connected to it. And it brings me hope. Seeing happy, smiling people of my generation, who are singularly happy and in love -- I just feel like today they represented hope and a sort of magic.


But by god, even I could have kissed her better than that!

The hens on The View are retarded re: maid of honor dress. I spent an hour yesterday scanning in wedding photos of my great-grandparents, etc, and in all the ones with bridesmaids included they are wearing white dresses. That was the tradition for many years. I'd be curious to know when colored dresses became the norm.
