OH LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT MY MONDAY THUS FAR

Today was supposed to be an important day for me at work, so last night I went to bed early so I could get up and be at work earlier than normal.

I arrive at work to find out WE'RE ON A FUCKING DELAY AND I DON'T HAVE TO BE IN FOR ANOTHER FOUR HOURS. FOUR HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would be genuinely mad if this wasn't so ridiculous it's now funny.

It's a 2 hour delay, which cancels my first class. But my next one isn't until 1pm so I don't have to be back until then.

My day has also sucked thus far. I've been working ALL weekend, because today is a really big day at my company. I go to bed early last night so I could be in the office at 6:00. I couldn't sleep most of the night, so now my stomach feels weird, and I'm all shaky and sweaty feeling. When I get to work, I have some major problems with the presentation that I have been working on. First the computer that it needed to go on was locked down, then the presentation itself wasn't working. I was supposed to have it up and running at 6:30, but I didn't get it to work until 8:00. Mostly thanks to a corrupted slide that refused to animate properly. Now I'm getting bombarded with last minute, "need it now" tasks... and I'm so tired. My co-workers were also having problems, so all three of us are little balls of stress now.

Stupid Mondays.

ugh stupid case of the mondays. husband went back to DC so i'm back here by myself....still attempting to get the house packed up (about 80% done) and get it rented it out.

that kind of sounds bad...... it was an old house and not their fault as far as i know...

yup we're in the process of moving. i'm just finishing up a few things before i go as well. we have tons of friends up there and now that my husband is living up there, i'm kind of ready to be there too.

i couldnt live up here in NOVA / DC area
