Since nobody reads the 148th post...


Seriously, if you're going to drive all the way to Houston to dump body parts, why not scatter them along the way and toss the machete somewhere equally as random so it couldn't be found in a reasonable amount of time? Also, why would leave the remains on your relative's property? Not that I think it's a setup, but it does seem incredibly stupid to link yourself that directly to the body.

well they weren't just 'found' (the remains).

the wife's sister or her family or her friends obviously ratted them out.

and thank you to whoever did.

if they hadn't been ratted out, i doubt the remains would have been found for years, perhaps never, because no one would have thought to look all the way in texas.

Nah, I bet they would have found them, even if the sister didn't rat them out. If RPD knew they had purchased coolers and a uhaul, that means they pulled financials. If these idiots were stupid enough to dump a body on family land/buy the tools to dispose of the body with credit cards, I'd bet they filled up their cars with gas paid for by cc and not cash as well. That, plus cell records from towers in Texas would tell them right where to look without a tip off.

exactly. it could have been as easy as finding out where the U-Haul was dropped off, crossing that with known relatives or accomplices in the area, and contacting the local authorities to do a preliminary search.

possibly but i wonder if they were going to court soon and he knew that the courts would appoint her primary custody. maybe she had some stuff on him that would make the courts think twice about the kids being with him and his new wife the majority of the time.

ps - someone could look up this info to see when they were planning on going to court again. i believe it should be listed under wake county and civil cases.

I never like to speculate on matters like this, but you'd have to be really ignorant to think this wasn't coming from the first day she went missing when the subcontent of the story said something like "volatile custody battle."

It's my opinion that he felt it was evident he'd lose custody of his children and would be crippled financially after such matters as child support. I'm sure his art/music career wasn't exactly paying the bills anyway. From various social media outlets he's left available, he appears to be an egotist.

Looks like his current wife married him informally and maybe because of a pregnancy, also.

As for this post-partum thing, I highly doubt it. She was probably just gullible enough to believe his story, and with no real plan it seems, and think they could both get away with it.
