The only thing that screws me is my fiance's dad has NO balls when dealing with her step mom so when i resist things she's surprised by it and sometimes offended.

lol...

dude everyone has their flaws... and we both know our own it just takes us getting through that stubborn moment to remember that.

When i'm mad about something (not her) i tend to be a complete ass for no good reason and then i apologize.

Ok, summary:
-Went out to a bar last night
-wife had my set of keys because she drove my car elsewhere
-I call while out and tell her I'll need to be let into the building when I get home
-she says ok no prob
-I get home at 1 AM this morning after drinking with buds and when she comes down to let me in she's pissed.

Still was pissed this morning about how late I woke her up. Said it was inconsiderate to stay out so late knowing I needed to wake her.

I think she has anger management issues.

tl;dr

I think a lot of guys don't realize that what we see as anger management issues is just standard female temperament. They're good at hiding it for a while from guys, but it's always there. The good ones can handle/control/use it as motivation for good. Those are the women you stick with.

[Edited on July 29, 2011 at 9:35 AM. Reason : I get berated daily but sometimes it inspires her to clean/cook/do something nice for me]

That's what I asked her...would she have come to pick me up if I didn't have a ride, and she said absolutely.

But that, somehow, this was different.

this is all idle bullshit but this is fun so I will list them here...

- she uses my razor ever though she has her own.
- she uses my tooth brush even though she has her own
- she leaves the cap off the toothpaste and then the toothpaste get everywhere

the next house we buy i'm going to have my own bathroom

^see I'm all worried about that

I'm single (DUH) so I don't feel so bad when I look at my counter and my make-up n hair shit is EVERYWHERE, but I worry about containing it when I do get a man.

So the GF has 'convinced' me (read: Voluntold) to drive down to Sunset Beach this evening after work where she and her family are vacationing this week. A trip to the beach wouldn't normally be a problem except for the fact that they have to be out of the house by tomorrow around lunchtime when we will head up to my brother's place at Wrightsville. She doesn't seem to realize how much of a waste of my time it is to go all the way to sunset rather than just meeting at Wrightsville tomorrow.

^ about the same here. My toothbrush and jewelry box stay out. That's it. Meanwhile, the bf has approx 15 bottles of hair product and cologne on the counter at any time.

Funny.

i couldn't deal with that.

contrary to basically everything else in my life, the kitchen and bathrooms have to be clutter free.

and the walls. i hate things on walls. but the girl is about to break me down on that one.

but i understand that's an irrationality.

just be like my gf, and don't.

I don't even have a "side" on our 6' vanity...not even the few inches between the side of the sink and the close wall because that's where the outlet is so all her hair devices camp out over there. I keep my cologne, deodorant and contact stuff in the medicine cabinet...my toothbrush and electric razor fend for themselves in the cosmetic forest. I've gotten used to this because I've come to grips with the fact that it's not going to change (i.e. I'm not picking that battle). What's funny though is when she does clean up I invariably get this: "We need to work on keeping the bathroom picked up."

Apply this to bedroom, kitchen, office, livingroom, etc.

That does remind me of a legit complaint.

My wife tends to be pretty passive aggressive about shit. She knows that subtle hints will never result in anything happening, but rather than just asking me to do something she'll just issue a request but use the word 'we' as if she has a stake in the situation as well.

'we' really need to give the dogs a bath.

means

The dogs stink. I'd like you to take care of that.

etc.

^ I don't like bugs in general, but I'm extremely arachnophobic, so if there's a spider around, I freak out and don't start breathing until a few minutes after it's gone. It's kinda pathetic, but large spiders in a different make me go into a fetal position on the couch.
Thankfully, that's something a lot of guys I know have learned to put up with. I could never be with a guy who couldn't handle bugs though, because for the most part, I need them to be gone.
Hell, I'm more okay with snakes than cockroaches.

I was briefly with someone who took it a step too far

She would non-chalantly stomp roaches barefoot and casually wipe it off it with a napkin

Like the gut residue didn't stick

Most bugs I've started being able to handle, I just don't like them.
Spiders are a very very different story.
Cockroaches just freak me out.

Fuck I hate typing that word even.

She constantly does that shit to me.

"Hey let's go get some beer at the Teeter."

"ok."

an hour later, we're done with a grocery shopping trip that has me set on food for 2 weeks, but I also need to see a chiropractor.

Her: "Can we pleeeease go to target? I want a new candle/bookshelf/etc"

Me: "Sure if we go to Lowe's afterward"

My wife dresses like she's always on the way to play basketball ... wearing MY basketball clothes and t-shirts

Me: "I will watch the kids by myself if you will go to the store and buy yourself some girl clothes"

Her: "Great ... But I need to go grocery shopping instead ... be back in an hour"

Me: "What the hell were you doing all day!!"

^ does she dress feminine at all?
Tell her you're going on a date next week and she has to dress up, see what happens.
That's kinda frustrating... I'd much prefer walking around in capris/pants or tshirt all the time, but I dress more nicely sometimes to see my man... :/

^^^ Is she over weight??

I know a lot of girls after they have kids and don't work off the baby weight "give up" and where comfy oversized cloths to hide the weight. Some refuse to by new clothing that they can actually fit into and think they will wait until they drop the weight and can fit into their old cloths.

That's just it ... she is rocking when she wears something form fitting... shes like 5-11 and 145 ... really looks great.

She doesnt like clothes that keep the heat close to her body. She feels like shorts and a t-shirt is more comfortable than most of the other more feminine and modest clothes out there. Key being modest ... yes, she could wear something sexy, but that's just not how we roll.
