The people can define any word however they choose. The government will define it as the union of two consenting adults... there's not legal reason to prevent this government definition.

The legal definition of marriage has no effect on charitable organization tax status nor their ability to use public facilities.

No, not really. Sex ed covers abstinence, pregnancy prevention, disease transmission prevention, and how pregnancy occurs. Don't see a reason why explicit details of sexual encounters should be provided in sex ed.

While I agree that a stable and functional mother-father family is the best situation, it is not a reason to deny parenthood to others. There are plenty of unstable/dysfunctional mother-father families, single parent families, no parent families, etc. A loving parent or parents, regardless of sexual orientation is better for a child than the streets or foster care.
