she was found guilty and appealed...after which, they had another trial for the same crime, right? in the US, you can't be tried again, even (or especially) if the decision is overturned...right? in the US, you wouldn't have even had a second trial (double jeopardy)

she can be tried in absentia, which is what'll happen since she'd be retarded to go back and risk being found guilty in Italy's kangaroo court system. most likely, she'll be found in contempt of court, which they can't do anything about, and if she's found guilty (again), she'll go somewhere that won't extradite her (though I don't see why the US would since this whole thing goes against Double Jeopardy)

If she is smart she will never leave USA again for any reason. She might wander in to a trap and the US cant help her outside of our borders. Italy does not extradite to US for murder charges because we have the death penalty here, so the US probably reserves the right to dishonor thier extradition requests in return.
