The Citizen Eco-Drive Titanium Skyhawk Atomic Mens Watch (JY0010-50E) is an excellent everyday watch it is my 3rd flyers watch and I have had it for 2 years. I was looking at getting a used Breitling B-1 or a new Airwolf Raven. Either watch is well over $2000.00 and doesn't have all the features of the Citizen which cost less than $500 for the Titanium version. I also didn't like the idea of wearing $2k+ on my wrist. Wearing a Breitling says one of two things to most people; 1) Its a fake, or 2) This guy is loaded. I don't want either applied to me. If you get the Citizen Get the Titanium. More about this watch.

This model has a solid titanium case (measures 45mm diameter by 15mm thick) and bracelet. With just one press of a button you can Interchange between Analog and Digital Times. This flight watch has 2 world time alarms and can be adjusted to times and calendars in 43 cities. Split-Second stop watch which can measure up to 24 hours. Countdown Timer 99-00 min. To measure ground speed and fuel consumption in flight, the watch has a rotating slide-rule bezel. Citizens proprietary Eco drive movement can charge in any light source. For precise time keeping, the watch is automatically set (or on demand) by atomic clock signals in North America, Europe and Asia. With this watch's unique low charge indicator window, it automatically goes into a power saving mode to reserve its charge when there is no light - up to 180 days. Watch has a screwed down case back designed to withstand up to 200m/660ft under water. Featuring both luminous hands and markers and a digital display back-light, this watch functions well in low light situations. Never wonder what day it is - it comes with an integrated perpetual calendar and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) Display.

If you want to laugh go read some of the customer reviews on Amazon for the $60k+ Heublots and some of the more expensive Brietlings (they usually have to be $30k+ to elicit the review). Some of them are unoriginal, but a few of them are really really funny. I can't remember which watch I was looking at that had like 5 of them.

I'm sure that comes in handy so often.

Watches are so frequently just fucking ridiculous.

so i'm not into watches as much as I used to be however I could use a dressy sports watch. I don't want to spend more then $500 but would like to find a decent watch on sale that has automatic movement, stainless steel band and good quality. also, I can't decided on a white/silver or black dial.

I like this tissot for $365

and this Xezo (don't know much about this brand)

No, not very often. I have a digital flight calculator. The slide rule on the watch is a back-up for when batteries die or I misplace my computer. All of the other features get used on a regular basis. I guess its only ridiculous until you need it.
