the prob with verlander is his fastball is a running fastball so it is really tough on umps. to be fair though the ump was calling a lot of srtikes on the inside corner/inside on righties that were questionable for both sides.

brandon moss's hit in the 8th would have tied the game but it fell short

i really think the error and sloppy plays on D were what cost us the game.

i mean it sucks to lose, but i don't think the series is anywhere close to being over. if we had gotten blown out/embarrassed, i'd probably be more concerned. but detroit is a good team, and we were in it until the end
