Chanting USA is never racist anywhere. So what if the other school's kids are non-white. They are still Americans. Why would they be sensitive to anyone chanting USA? Why would anyone? You have not made a convincing case and only have offered invented circumstances.

You have two schools here. One is predominately caucasian, and one is predominately hispanic. They are both schools in the US.

The school that is predominately caucasian beat the predominately hispanic school in basketball. The caucasian school then started chanting USA as if to imply it was an American vs. Mexican match. It was not, they are all Americans. This gives the implication that hispanic Americans are less American than caucasian Americans.

I hope this clears things up. If you read this whole thing and still don't understand, I don't know what to tell you. You're an idiot?

Hilarious mistake here, but it actually helps clear up some of the confusion. It wasn't soccer, it was basketball.

Now, when I read the story, it talked about a minority team, and it was basketball. I was not imagining a majority hispanic team playing basketball. Soccer, you would expect. Basketball, you'd expect the "minority" team to be black.

Yes, it's stereotyping, but come on...I know I'm not the only one that made this faulty assumption.
