Reuters is reporting that the police chief was the guy who said the explosives were complicated, and yes that it was the suspect who directed them there. The police busted in through a window to get into his second story apartment...I'm guessing that's the ladder truck or whatever that I mentioned earlier.

Yea I totally agree with you. Even in the best of situations infants can go from happy little things to screaming monsters in 2 seconds flat. This may sound insensitive, but I am always curious in these situations that the people don't seem to be trying to wipe out everyone in a given area. The columbine kids killed 11-12 in a whole school. Some of the other mall/school shootings seem to go the same way. Do they have some sort of twisted moral compass? They always seem to threaten bombs, or other sort of mass killing mechanisms. If this guy wanted maximum carnage he would have come in with 5 or 6 handguns, and something semi automatic....blocked a doorway and tried his best to mow everyone down.

Strange thought...just can't help but try to understand what goes through these peoples heads.
