I like the ideals behind Romney's ideas, but I think that he's pretty unrealistic and that Obama knows that. It's not as easy as Romney wants to make it out to be. The president really doesn't have the control that they would like for the people to believe that they have.

I've always liked the idea of small government despite being very liberal. My thing is that what I see of conservatives is that they want small government on fiscal/rights issues (medicare, gun control, etc.), but they seem to want more say-so when it comes to social issues/liberties (e.g. marriage equality, abortions, drug legality).
