Theres a difference in being like "I hope TOB kicks him off the team!" and "well, he quit on us and transferred, so fuck him"

Not really. The former is much more ridiculous. The latter is a lot more spiteful than ridiculous.

Don't worry, he'll give NCSU some love when he returns to NC week 1 to roll the panthers, and the reporters joke with him that he's still undefeated against teams that call themselves carolina

The only people who call South Carolina "Carolina" are idiots that reside in South Carolina.

Go outside of South Carolina and everyone will call them South Carolina and UNC is referred to as Carolina.

I've only heard it in the state of South Carolina. Maybe some people in SEC country refer to them as "Carolina", but I'd wager that the majority of them say "South Carolina".

^ No clearly he is confusing the Panthers and Packers. Both teams start with a Pa so it's an honest mistake. No one, even RW, remembers his time at NC State.

Except I don't live in NC and haven't for almost 10 years now. 2 of which were in South Carolina and that was the only place that referred to it as Carolina.

half the people in the pacific northwest think "carolina" refers to a combination of north carolina and south carolina, and think its just one state

true story: wearing my State shirt last weekend (red shirt, reads "STATE" in huge letters with a huge block-S logo), the dude at Home Depot said "oh, did you go to Carolina?" Proves that people in the NW corner of the US are oblivious to anything that happens outside the NW corner of the US

LOL. So some guy on PP called UW's registrar office to check if RW graduated with a Master's degree from there.

Quote :
"Well, I called the Registrar at UW. It is public information.

He does not have a Master's Degree. He was majoring in Education Leadership and Policy Analysis. Now that raises an interesting question for the NCAA - how in the world is that degree different from NC State's education master's, Ed's or PhD's?
"
