admittedly, i lumped them in with the brother who was charged...it was my understanding (either from false reporting or assumptions on my part) that they lived there at least some of the time and i figured 3 brothers + 3 kidnapped girls added up

it's a little easier to believe that the average passersby or even neighbors didn't know there were girls being held in the house, but the brothers? it's just harder to believe (though i realize it's being unfair to them without any evidence that they were involved or knew what was going on)

Probably the best case scenario for all. Had he been put on death row, it still would have taken years and probably a shit ton of expensive, stupid ass appeals before he got put down. This way his ass can rot in the ground, one more cell is freed up for the next rapist, and no one is crying about the death penalty.

Maybe we should always leave a rope hanging in the cell of every murderer/rapist that has confessed to their crimes.
