Easily the best episode of the season last night. 8/11/2014 9:28:17 AM |
CraigWolf Veteran 232 Posts user info edit post |
DVR'ed last night's episode but it was preempted by PGA coverage, so I missed it. I did watch the TVGN live feeds from the last few nights, which I had been fast-forwarding through because they were uneventful...until Friday night's feed, which happened to coincide with Frankie's reveal in its entirety. They did the "We'll be right back" fish tank thing for the first hour or so, presumably because they were doing the Battle of the Block competition, but when that was over the drama began. I'll be interested to see what happened during the competition (or just prior) that prompted the drama. I thought it was funny that Derrick was arguing that he's played an honest game all season (hasn't hidden his true identity, like Frankie), even though he's been hiding the fact that he's a cop. 8/11/2014 11:17:45 AM |

but yeah, BBAD was good this weekend. 8/11/2014 1:19:08 PM |

I can't believe Frankie won that competition. Just the same, Caleb is a freaking idiot for letting Frankie play by himself. It's a lot easier to ensure Frankie loses if he only has control over one of the chains.
^^So did Frankie reveal who is sister was on Friday? Because if you just watch the show itself (which I do) they made it seem like Frankie is going to reveal who he is this week. I mean it was the last thing said on Sunday night's episode in the DR. 8/12/2014 9:54:14 AM |
CraigWolf Veteran 232 Posts user info edit post |
^ Yeah, so because I missed Sunday's episode and only caught the live feeds from Thurs/Fri/Sat, I wasn't aware of what actually went down during the BotB comp (until I watched the episode on-demand last night). I was surprised that Frankie's big reveal wasn't aired during the actual show, but only teased, because it basically covered most of the 2-hour span of Friday night's TVGN live feed. I'm guessing they didn't have time to include it in Sunday's episode, or perhaps they couldn't squeeze it into the 1-hour episode with everything else that went down...or most likely, they decided to save it for the Wed episode to draw in more viewers. I realize now that I probably included too much info from the live feed in my last post, assuming that they would have revealed more than they did in the episode (I can't edit it now; otherwise I would) 8/12/2014 11:13:34 AM |

Yeah Caleb did a horrible job trying to hide that he was going to throw the comp.....if he was even trying to hide it. I guess he let Frankie play by himself so that he could say, hey I can't help he won the competition, I tried...
Also, I don't understand why Frankie would reveal all of a sudden. I can't imagine it would help his game in anyway.
I can only assume he was pressured to do it to by the producers so that they could have the "big reveal" before he ends up getting voted out next week. 8/12/2014 12:31:57 PM |
aimorris All American 15213 Posts user info edit post |
I don't watch live shows or BBAD and I too am curious about Frankie's big "reveal" and what he thinks will happen. Honestly can't imagine anybody but Victoria (who cares) giving a shit who his sister is.
Next thing is kind of sort of a spoiler?
I did read after the comp that Caleb wanted to get back in the game after it started and Frankie was leading but producers wouldn't let him. 8/12/2014 12:37:21 PM |

yeah production knew caleb's plan so they tried to bribe him with the football trip and changed the comp to one that a single person could do easier than 2 people.
frankie's outing himself is not going to work. nobody cares who is sister is 8/13/2014 6:37:38 AM |

It was obvious last night when they started showing Beastmode Cowboy's ninja moves that they had very little footage to work with from the last few days. I can attest to this, having reviewed the BBOD episodes since Thursday.8/25/2014 6:13:36 PM |

The only thing that I have to look forward to now, is the moment when Christine, Cody, Frankie, and Caleb FINALLY put it all together, while in the jury house. How those four haven't questioned Derrick up to now is beyond me. The guy has never been on the block, and has no enemies in jury house. I just don't know if the thrill of that moment is worth the four-five weeks of bullshit tv. 8/26/2014 8:34:42 AM |

They should do the fan favorite $25k deal and if Frankie wins CBS should donate the money to build schools in africa. give him the news live on finale night, the look on his face would be awesome 8/26/2014 9:03:41 AM |

This shit is crawling now. I've never seen a group so dedicated to each other.
Anyways, I've been thinking and two things just do not add up to me. 1). Donny wears ncsu gear almost all the time. I've seen him also sport a unc shirt. No ncsu fan would ever own such a shirt. 2). Zach also loved his gators, yet I also saw him in fsu gear a time or two, which a gator would never do.
Actors from California, trying to sneak one by on us (hey, both schools are from nc, nobody will know the difference) or Donny just likes both schools??
This season has gotten THIS boring..... 8/27/2014 10:38:02 PM |

It's not a spoiler to talk about what happened on the show that already aired. Now, I do know who won this week's HOH, and I guess some people would get their panties in a bunch if I mentioned that, but just because you weren't able to watch something when it aired, that means it's your responsibility to avoid threads until you're caught up.
That being said, does anybody know why Christine got booed so heavily last night after she was evicted? I wasn't a fan of hers at all, but I didn't think she was particularly awful and I thought her reception was unnecessarily harsh. I know a lot of times things get said on the live feeds and not shown on the show that makes particular houseguests disliked, but I googled a little bit last night and couldn't find any examples of her saying or doing anything really awful. Anybody know what's up with that?9/5/2014 2:46:02 PM |

^ she was way too close to Cody considering she is married perhaps
The rewind button is retarded. So we are going to have a whole week that doesn't matter. At they warned us this time I guess. 9/5/2014 3:36:42 PM |
CraigWolf Veteran 232 Posts user info edit post |
^ The booing was definitely due to her antics with Cody as a married woman. Some of it might've been because of her treatment of Nicole, since she seems to be a fan favorite, but I doubt it.
I was actually expecting the exact reaction she received. There was really NO excuse for the amount of physical contact that she had with Cody, given that she is a married woman. The BBOD episodes have especially brought this to light. The excuse she gave that it's all "strategy" is complete BS. Cody should receive the same reaction when he is eventually booted, because he could've and should've refused her advances, but I doubt he will. I was also expecting Julie to ask some more difficult questions (like she did to Amanda last year), especially after the audience reaction, but I suppose she wasn't prepared due to the double-elimination. 9/5/2014 4:03:17 PM |
BDubLS1 All American 10406 Posts user info edit post |
Julie definitely alluded to it with her questions about Cody, but I think she respectfully shied away from the harsh questions since Christine probably has no idea of the perception of her and all the stuff that has been shown about her and Cody. (i.e., her husband being interviewed, parents, etc... on that one live show)
Also, the rewind button just reeks of "Oh man, the show has been too predictable lately, we've gotta add something here at the end to spice it up" 9/6/2014 9:37:21 PM |
