You are football illiterate. With no vertical threat to the offense, the box will be overloaded. Also 10 play drives are really hard to keep together. One no yard run on first down or procedure call puts you in really bad shape if you don't try to get yards in chunks.

Meh, I'm not impressed with his ability to compile a decent record with 3-4 free wins (our absurd OOC schedule annually) and playing in the ACC, which is pretty consistently the worst power conference.

Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather have him than Tom O'Brien or that idiot down the road at UNC, but he's not who we need long term. I just hope he doesn't leave the cupboard bare when we fire him or he decides to leave.
