Many many years ago I was in a league with the Coach position also. I think it was +3 or -3 for a W or L. It was pretty dumb.

we have a trade deadline. That’s pretty much the only policy we have.

I’ve been in leagues before where members could vote to approve or overturn a trade but I always thought it was dumb and we don’t do it anymore.

The only time I've been genuinely angry on FF is when a commissioner unilaterally vetoed a trade in a money league. Infuriating.

Voting on trades is good in the case of extremely lopsided trades near the deadline. But a commissioner with a backbone could also veto one. I don't mind it, as I only incredibly rarely voted against trades (like when a husband and wife traded multiple starters for like backups and kickers between each other)

Yeah in the case of obvious cheating then trades should def be vetoed. I feel like there was a little too much pettiness with the voting when my league did that. Like, somebody would get pissed and vote against a trade because they were trying to trade for that same player but somebody beat them to it or whatever. But that was like 10 years ago. We’re all definitely way more mature and level headed now for sure

I think currently the commish has sole approve/veto power. But we’ve had no issues in a very very long time that I can recall

I'll say I was def fleecing a guy but the commish had just let a trade go Peyton Manning for Tony Romo in 2013, i was like it fuck it I can complain or I can trade with him too, then mine got vetoed and i lost my mind lol. Work league too so I had to argue very politely. Wish espn archived ff message boards so I could dig up the paragraphs of text.

i signed up to play in a 12-team dynasty league, 35 rounds followed by a dedicated rookie draft.

Continuous snake draft with 8 hour pick windows. We are still in round 2. I hate it.

Jesus that sounds awful.

The type of thing that would’ve been fun in college probably. But now? No way I have time for that. I’m in 2 leagues and am strongly considering quitting one because it’s hard to make time for 2 and drafts keep conflicting.
