I was actually supposed to be going to the barbershop in that shopping center by food lion, but I got ANNOYED with how terrible Tryon's traffic is so I detoured and went riding on those nice country roads.

I actually stay within 5 mins of C&C Raleigh Grande.

It is truly a pimp Saab...be glad you weren't behind me on the road. Either a PCV issue or the turbo's oil seal is going bad, because this baby intermittently spits out huge clouds of oil smoke.

And I got no time to monkey with that shit. So I check the oil twice a week and throw a couple quarts in and continue rolling coal (or oil, as it were).

Oh, spottings...ate lunch with dustm yesterday.

The vette is nice to drive again. Quinn helped me with a trans swap in my eg hatchback this weekend. I'd rather have done the head gasket on the vette again than do another trans swap.

-fresh track
-went around the water
-no burnout/peelout (nitto DR's)
-lined up
-attempted to feather off the line
-went about 20' and... no more power to the road.

-no fluids on track
-engine starts and idles fine
-driveshaft and axles good
-clutch gives feedback
-shifter still slots into the right places
-gears not engaging
-will have her fixed up by Saturday at best

Sucks too because the only (streetable) V8s that had me were the two $80k Z06's
I enjoyed watching that silent, red camaro whoop up those mustangs
